Naomi's Easy C2C Blanket

This soft and playful baby blanket uses the thick, plush Bernat Blanket yarn in fun colorful stripes. By working the traditional corner to corner stitch in join as you go strips, you'll create a fun herringbone pattern that looks absolutely incredible, but is effortless to make. This baby blanket uses two cakes of Bernat Blanket Stripes, but if you wanted to create more even rows, you could absolutely substitute your favorite colors of yarn in a super bulky 6 weight.

Basic C2c Chunky Afghan

"This crochet pattern is for a basic, chunky, beautifully textured corner to corner afghan. Worked in two strands of worsted weight yarn (or one strand of chunky weight yarn), this cozy afghan works up fairly quickly. My afghan is worked in a solid color, but you could use some Caron Cakes yarn (or similar) for an easy, colorful afghan, or change colors as you see fit. For my blanket, I used about 8.33 (1/3) Skeins of Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn in the Ivory colorway (two strands held together). In it's place, you could use one strand of chunky/bulky (#5) yarn. Take a gauge. If you don't mind a slight difference in measurements, gauge isn't essential. You could even go up a hook size, and use super bulky yarn for a larger blanket. This afghan took me just over 11 hours to work up."

C2C Chevron Baby Blanket

C2C in crochet usually means corner to corner where you crochet your work from corner to corner and this time using the diagonal box stitch. This C2C blanket uses a lovely color combination that creates a nice chevron pattern.

To complete the baby blanket, you have to make 6 of each accent color squares and join them together using the Mattress Stitch.
