Timeless Lacy Shell Crochet Blanket
This timeless lacy shell crochet blanket is simple but has an elegant touch. Alternating the colored yarn with white really helps make this throw lovely. I must admit, this is a pattern I fell in love with so much that I made two right away. This pattern size is wonderful for a small throw or blanket. However, it would be an heirloom crochet project as a larger afghan. The pattern is a repeat of rows 2-5. It is ideal to end with the stitch pattern on row 3 as this will provide a nice foundation to even out the work on the next row. There are just a few special stitches; the v-stitch, and the shell stitch. The edge consists of the single crochet and double crochet. In total, just a but shy of five skeins were used for this baby blanket.
Suzette's Chunky Afghan
"This crochet pattern is for a chunky, beautifully textured afghan featuring the Suzette stitch pattern, which is comprised of simple single and double crochets. Worked in two strands of worsted weight yarn (or one strand of chunky weight yarn), this cozy afghan works up fairly quickly. For my afghan, I used I Love This Yarn approximately 2.33 skeins of Black, 3 skeins of Red, and 1.5 skeins of White (two strands held together). In it's place, you could use one strand of chunky/bulky (#5) yarn. Take a gauge. If you don't mind a slight difference in measurements, gauge isn't essential. You could even go up a hook size, and use super bulky yarn for a larger blanket. This afghan took me just over 11.5 hours to work up."
Parker Cozy Blanket
I love making blankets. As they grow, they keep me super cozy and that is pretty much the reason I designed the Parker Cozy Blanket - because I was cold that day. True story! I love the Parker Cozy Blanket because it has both a cozy and open style of stitching so as not to create a blanket that doesn't allow for some air flow. It is perfect for those cozy nights on the couch! The Parker Cozy Blanket is great for every level of crocheter because it has a wonderful rhythm to the stitching that lets you really get in a groove and will fly off your hook!

They really work up fast and if you use a Blanket yarn, Chunky or Bulky yarn , then you can whip up one in no time at all. Today am sharing a Quick and easy Crochet Baby Blanket Pattern with Moss Stitch. The moss stitch is similar to Single Crochet with a slight variation. It is worked with chains between single crochet stitches. I have used Blanket Yarn. I love working with these soft chunky yarns. They make these blankets so soft and snuggly. These Snuggly crochet baby blankets are the perfect things to make for newborn babies or baby shower gifts. Materials Used:- Blanket Yarn - Green and Light Brown 7mm Crochet Hook"
