The pattern is available in sizes Preemie, Newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, Small Child (age 3-5 years), Child (age 6-10 years), Teen, Adult (medium) and Adult (large). You will need Medium Weight (Aran) Yarn and a 5.5 mm (I) hook. The yarn I used is on the heavier side of the Medium Weight Yarn category. The stitch multiple is 2 + 1 for the turning chain.
