This pattern is for sizes 12 months - 12 years and is beginner friendly. It can be worked up quickly using chunky yarn and the pattern is simple and easy to follow written in US terms. The Gilet is made in one piece, sewing the shoulders and adding the hood. It is great for a first project or for those still new to the craft. When we completing all my parts separately, then join all the parts into the wrong side sweater and then work for the neckband and border for sleeves and sweater.
