Cactus Tote

Problem: You have one skein of Flikka or Comfy Cotton Blend in your stash and don't know what to do with it. Solution: I made you a tote pattern! And it's free! You’ll also need a little Worsted and a little Super Bulky. I used the Flikka color Dill Pickle because I couldn’t resist the adorable name. Once I got the yarn home it reminded me so much of a cactus that I hopped on the cactus trend bandwagon and whipped up my version of a cactus tote complete with a big blooming flower! This tote has lots of pretty details both small (a subtle fan stitch and surface crocheted strap) and big (aforementioned flower). And it doubles as a purse! The tote takes about 4-6 hours. I hope you enjoy the pattern!!Cactus Tote

Chasing Diamonds Bag

This bag is just so fun, retro and chic! Perfect hand bag with a cross body chevron strap. With just a small section of tapestry crochet worked in just 2 colors, this would make a great introduction to this fabulous color technique! Full color graph is provided for the tapestry crochet section of the bag as well. At approximately 8” tall (excluding strap) x 13” wide, this bag is the perfect everyday go-to size. Line and add a zipper, if desired. Optional d-rings are crocheted directly to the bag for ease of construction and then strap is sewn to d-rings at the end. Strap is a retro chevron design to mimic the diamond design element of the bag. As written, strap is approximately 37” long once sewn to bag allowing the bag to be worn cross-body. However, instructions are provided to resize the strap as well

Crochet Evening Purse Free Pattern

I had this beautiful button and wanted to make a casual purse with lots of space for everything. Carrying a handmade purse always adds some extra happiness. The Evening Purse is the perfect companion for a evening stroll, shopping and all. I choose a gorgeous red color. Crocheting the purse is easier than writing the pattern. And I enjoyed both. The pattern is very easy, one can make it within few hours. I used a simple stitch for the body. The base pattern is slightly different which gives a nice shape to the bag.
