Blueberry Hill Crochet Shawl

This pretty shawl is light and airy and can be worn in so many ways! Drape it over your shoulders with the opening in the front or the back. Pin it closed, or wrap the end over one shoulder. You can even bunch it up and use it as a scarf! Lover’s knot designs look complicated, but they're really just a series of long chains and single crochets. The pattern includes a link to a tutorial. The instructions for the main section (not the edging) are provided in both written and charted formats, so you can see how the stitches come together. Because this is lace and is so open, your yardage and finished size may vary quite a bit. It will depend on how springy your yarn is, and how aggressively you block it. Mine grew from 36 x 60 inches to 44 x 72 inches just in the blocking.

Berry Cakes Infinity Scarf

This gorgeous Berry Cakes Infinity Scarf uses Caron Cakes, a self-striping yarn which creates color block sections. With a simple V-Stitch pattern, you can create this beautiful infinity scarf in no time! This scarf is made with one Caron Cake in the Mixed Berry colorway. If you are making this project with a different yarn and would still like to create the color blocks, you will need to use different colored yarns and join after each section to create the same effect.

Caramel Fudge Ripple Wrap

The Caramel Fudge Ripple Wrap is a simple and easy crochet wrap pattern. The stylish wrap or shawl looks gorgeous in both self-striping and solid yarns. The silt stitch is easy to do once you master the repeat. And, the stitch naturally tilts so the wrap also slants slightly on the bias for a stylish look. The wrap is generous in size. It can be worn several ways. Wrap it over one shoulder. Or, drape it over both shoulders. This pattern would also work well as an easy crochet prayer shawl pattern.

Big Sky Shawl

Life is often hard, and even the clearest skies have clouds sometimes. And as crocheters, we can make it better. One way is by making prayer or comfort shawls for those who need an extra hug, and to feel our love. The Big Sky Shawl was designed with this idea in mind - while maintaining a sense of style. The Big Sky Shawl is made with Lion Brand Homespun, a favorite yarn for those crafting for others. It's warm, soft, and the yarn creates the texture - which means simple stitches shine. And the Big Sky Shawl does indeed use simple stitches, so almost anyone can make this easy crochet prayer shawl pattern! The colors I used for the Big Sky Shawl are Montana Sky and Clouds - appropriate, no? Streaks of gray cut through the blue sky, but there is more blue than gray, to remind us of the bright times to come. The shaping creates a triangular shawl that's more V shaped than anything, with corners that wrap easily around the shoulders to stay in place. And it doesn't just help the person you give it to - it helps you too! Studies have shown time and again how crocheting improves our mental health, making this an excellent way to help others while you help yourself. You can wear the Big Sky shawl across the shoulders as a standard shawl, or wrapped around the neck with the point in front - either way, the optional tassels on the points help keep it where you put it. It's only 20 rows long (plus a couple rounds for the border), so you can whip one up in a just a few evenings.
