Flamingo Graphghan

This graph is large at 66 x 100 tiles. Depending on the yarn, hook, and stitch that you choose, this blanket could easily be large enough for a bed. Not up for the challenge? I’ve also designed a smaller version. The free pdf file includes a full sized version of the graph and also a 4 part breakdown. Since this graph is so large you may choose to print it out in four sections so that the tiles are larger and easier to see.

Paw Print Blanket

This Paw Print Blanket is a really special project for me. I wanted to make something special for our sweet girl Ashley, who turned 9 on the 23rd of February. Since she loves animals (dogs especially), I decided to design a corner-to-corner (c2c) Paw Print Blanket. I thought it would be fun to make four separate c2c graphs to spell the word "love" and to replace the "o" with a paw print. I then decided on some really fun yarn colors that I thought Ashley would love. I decided on Red Heart Super Saver in Turqua, Pretty-n-Pink, Freshmint & Amethyst.Paw Print Blanket

Wildlife Graphghan

"Celebrate the wild animals in all their beauty with this fantastic Wildlife Graphghan made of 20 corner to corner (C2C) animal blocks that are joined together! It is amazing how versatile this blanket can be when using different background colors and different placements of the animal blocks! Each animal block is available as written instructions and chart! You can also make smaller blanket sizes when using less animal squares. Just pick the C2C animal squares of your choice, mix and match, then stitch them together with an invisible seam! A ribbed border around the blanket will complete the look. You can also use each of these animal squares to make pillowcases. "Wildlife Graphghan

Modern Double Crochet V-Stitch Chunky Blanket

This modern double crochet v-stitch chunky blanket is a wedding gift. I have had this Caron One Pound yarn in my stash for a while now. Thought it was time to get something made with it. The blanket had to be large enough to cover a queen sized bed. As you can see from the photo, it is large enough. Not too large though so that one or two people can snuggle under it. Additionally, this had to be warm enough to be the go-to blanket on our cold winter nights. Using two strands of yarn makes this a fun and chunky blanket. It also makes for a very warm blanket. I will miss having this cover me up while crocheting when it is below zero here this week. Brrrr. The double crochet stitch is a quick stitch to master and once the pattern is started, there is really little need to count. For me, this makes for a great crochet pattern to work on while watching movies. I think this is a great beginner stitch once you have mastered the double crochet stitch. It is always easy to see where you need to insert your hook in the previous row.Modern Double Crochet V-Stitch Chunky Blanket
