This ombré baby blanket has a lovely texture, it is easy to crochet and it works up very quickly. In a short time you'll complete a beautiful handmade gift that will be treasured forever. A great thing about this ombré blanket is that you don’t need to change colors, the yarn makes all the colorwork for you. For this blanket were used 650g (or 2 ⅓ balls) of Red Heart Super Saver Ombre yarn in colorway “Deep Teal”. The knit-like crochet border finishes the blanket beautifully.
The Touch of Teal Afghan… This is a super easy crochet pattern using only front loop single crochet and back loop double crochet to create the base… The edging is a simple shell pattern. Using a super bulky yarn, this really goes quickly!!! This is a perfect project to make while watching Tv.. Also this makes a perfect gift and will look great in any room of the house!! I used Michael’s Loops and Threads Country Loom Yarn in Clear Skies.
Teal blanket yarn works perfectly with this wave crochet pattern to create a peaceful, ocean vibe for this Teal Waves Crochet Blanket. Wave stitches can be fun to crochet, you just have to develop a rhythm of sorts to keep track of which stitch you’re using. The upside is if you use the wrong stitch, it will quickly become very obvious when your waves don’t line up! This Teal Waves Crochet Blanket is definitely one of my favorite afghan projects to date!
The Easy Ombre Baby Blanket uses one skein of Red Heart Yarn's Super Saver Ombre to achieve a wonderful color effect. A border of Red Heart Yarn's Soft yarn completes the project. The body of this blanket uses a V-stitch that is made up of double crochets and chains. The border uses single crochet, double crochet, and slip sts to give a lacy effect. This project works up approximately 29" square and makes a great baby shower gift.
"Crochet a treasured and modern baby afghan for a baby boy using this simple crochet moss stitch. This is one of my favorite stitch patterns to use and it makes such a beautiful gift for an expecting mother. A video tutorial is available to help explain this pattern and I hope that this will inspire you to create your own Crochet Moss Stitch Baby Afghan."
