This ombré baby blanket has a lovely texture, it is easy to crochet and it works up very quickly. In a short time you'll complete a beautiful handmade gift that will be treasured forever. A great thing about this ombré blanket is that you don't need to change colors, the yarn makes all the colorwork for you. For this blanket were used 650g (or 2 ⅓ balls) of Red Heart Super Saver Ombre yarn in colorway “Deep Teal”. The knit-like crochet border finishes the blanket beautifully.

TagsTeal Waves Crochet Blanket
Teal blanket yarn works perfectly with this wave crochet pattern to create a peaceful, ocean vibe for this Teal Waves Crochet Blanket. Wave stitches can be fun to crochet, you just have to develop a rhythm of sorts to keep track of which stitch you're using. The upside is if you use the wrong stitch, it will quickly become very obvious when your waves don't line up! This Teal Waves Crochet Blanket is definitely one of my favorite afghan projects to date!
Touch of Teal Afghan
The Touch of Teal Afghan… This is a super easy crochet pattern using only front loop single crochet and back loop double crochet to create the base… The edging is a simple shell pattern. Using a super bulky yarn, this really goes quickly!!! This is a perfect project to make while watching Tv.. Also this makes a perfect gift and will look great in any room of the house!! I used Michael’s Loops and Threads Country Loom Yarn in Clear Skies.
Easy Ombre Baby Blanket
The Easy Ombre Baby Blanket uses one skein of Red Heart Yarn's Super Saver Ombre to achieve a wonderful color effect. A border of Red Heart Yarn's Soft yarn completes the project. The body of this blanket uses a V-stitch that is made up of double crochets and chains. The border uses single crochet, double crochet, and slip sts to give a lacy effect. This project works up approximately 29" square and makes a great baby shower gift.
Timeless Teal Chevron Blanket
There is something timeless and classic about a good chevron blanket. I have made my Timeless Teal Chevron Blanket so many times for baby showers that I could probably crochet one in my sleep. This blanket is honestly a huge hit no matter what colour I make it in. I have even made it in colours that I wasn’t particularly drawn to and ended up loving it so much I kept it for my daugther. Using Bernat Blanket Stripes yarn, (my go-to blanket yarn) which is a super bulky, size 6 yarn, this blanket works up in a jiffy. I have made one in two evenings or about 6 to 8 hours.
