Since it's a one-skein crochet shawl pattern, you won't have many ends to weave in which means you can wear this project as soon as it's finished. This is an intermediate level pattern, but there are only two rows to repeat. Once you get the stitch pattern down, you will find it a relatively mindless and straightforward crochet project. The Rose Finch Capelet is a vintage lace poncho that is light, airy, and the perfect accessory for warmer Spring and Summer seasons! Its design features a delicate boat-shaped neckline followed by a feminine body portion using a simple and fun two-row stitch repeat. It crocheted in joined rounds, and a relatively quick and easy project that beginners familiar with the stitches used can tackle without any trouble. Using soft cotton bamboo yarn or a cotton blend, it features a relaxed and beautiful drape with the illusion of sleeves. The lace and bottom edging portion makes this a more “dressy” looking shawl that will be sure to garner compliments. It can be worn similar to a wrap or shrug, and adds a lovely touch of color and texture to any outfit. Crochet this beautiful capelet as a gift for someone special, or for yourself!
This crochet spiked triangle shawl is an easy first shawl to make. This crochet pattern also comes with a video tutorial for those that prefer learning visually. The spikes on the ends add a soft flair to the comfy scarf. You could wear this around your neck like a bandanna scarf or even as a shawlette. This worked up rather quickly. Need a quick gift for someone or want to make one for yourself to wear? Do you have a few skeins of Red Heart Unforgettable yarn in your stash? I happened to see this beautiful yarn in the store a few weeks ago and I added some to my stash. This shawl took two full skeins for the shawl itself and about a quarter of the third skein for the spiked fringe. If you can complete a single crochet and a slip stitch, you can add the spiked fringe to the edge of the shawl. I think it adds such a fun spark to this crochet project. And you can wash the shawl without the fringe coming out.
