Storm Ridge Wrap

The Storm Ridge Wrap is an easy, beginner friendly wrap that's the essence of coziness. Worked sideways, from tip to tip you can easily adjust the size to your liking. Named partly for the beautiful blues in Red Heart's Roll With It Tweed yarn and the crochet ridges created by the blo (back loop only) technique. I love how the yarn does all the color work for me and that means less ends to weave in-win win!"

Quinley Sideways Shawl

Today’s free crochet pattern is the Quinley Sideways Shawl, when i come across this stitch pattern i instantly fell in love with it as you know me i am sucker for easy to crochet shawls using simple stitches to give a minimalist look and this one hit the spot! The Quinley Sideways Shawl only uses two types of stitches which is the chain stitch and the dc stitch, which is great if you are looking for a mindless pattern to crochet and this one works up super quick with no fuss and creates beautiful shells and V stitches. This shawl is also worked sideways with no long starting chain and is crocheted in rows by turning your work over at the end of each row.Quinley Sideways Shawl

Devon Sideways Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

"Today’s free crochet pattern is the Devon Sideways Shawl and this beautiful shawl is a filet crochet pattern meaning that it just uses the double crochet stitch and the chain stitch. I designed a filet crochet blanket not long ago of broken chevrons and wanted to do that as a shawl but i got a bit carried away and in the end it didn’t end up as broken chevrons, it ended up as a double chevron but don’t worry the broken chevrons is still on my list to do. This crochet pattern is very easy as it consists of working it row by row, flat and sideways and it works up super quick! This shawl only took me 4 days to complete and then a few extra days for blocking. Even though this pattern is a filet crochet pattern i still like to block my shawls as it gives it more of a crisper finish and it lays more flat."Devon Sideways Shawl Free Crochet PatternClick here for the crochet pattern

Monday Blues Shawl

Even though this Monday Blues Shawl has all the deep, rich color tones of blue, you won't be feeling down when you're wearing this! The shawl crochet pattern has an understated triangle shape, and it can actually double as a crochet scarf because it is so versatile. The wave styling looks great with these blue colors, and the mix of dark and light creates a perception of depth that really sets this easy crochet shawl apart. The lightness of the fine weight yarn does not prevent this shawl from having fabulous warmth either.

Lucia Sideways Shawl

Today’s FREE crochet pattern is the Lucia Sideways Shawl as i mentioned last week a lot of you have requested no long starting chains so i have been working on a few sideway shawls for quite a while now. The Lucia Sideways Shawl is another lacy design which uses very basic crochet stitches but done in such a way which makes them look really intricate and elegant and that’s what i love about most of the shawls i have designed, they look harder than they actually are.
