Ruffle Baby Blanket

Today’s free crochet pattern is this adorable ruffle baby blanket, oh my goodness this is the cutest thing ever and it is so easy to do! I have to be honest though those ruffles took a little longer than what i expected BUT it is still very quick to do… I am clearly just impatient haha! The ruffle baby blanket is done by crocheting the base of the blanket which is just made up of double crochet stitches and then adding the ruffles which is super simple! All you need to know is how to work in the back loop of stitches on row 5 as when you do this you leave the front loop exposed and this is where you join your yarn to make the ruffle.

Stripes & Ruffles Baby Blanket – Free Crochet Pattern

"Are you looking for a quick and easy to make baby blanket pattern? Look no further! The Stripes & Ruffles Baby Blanket was designed with the beginner crocheter in mind and makes the perfect baby shower gift. But just because it is designed for beginner, it doesn’t mean it has to look basic. The blanket has beautiful stripes of cluster v stitches and a wide border on which I crocheted the overlapping shells that look like ruffles. And it’s all done with single crochet and double crochet stitches!"Stripes & Ruffles Baby Blanket – Free Crochet Pattern

Glorious Springtime Blanket Crochet Pattern

"The glorious springtime blanket is another version of the new springtime soft shells crochet blanket pattern. Change up the crochet edge to create a completely different look. This pattern also uses two versions of the v stitch to achieve a beautiful look and feel. This pattern is a four-row repeat to create the luxurious crochet pattern. Each row is starts with a Chainless starting stitch. For instance, use the Chainless Double Crochet rather than a Chain 3. Use the Chainless Single Crochet rather than a Chain 1.The foundational row uses the No Chain Double Crochet rather than a chain of stitches and row of double crochet. For your convenience, here is a video on the No Chain Double Crochet Stitch. Use Stitch Markers after each four-row repeat. This will help be able to tell what row pattern you are on when you pick your work back up. There are video tutorials to help with the entire crochet pattern."Glorious Springtime Blanket Crochet Pattern

Rainbow Ruffle Blanket

The Rainbow Ruffle blanket is super warm, soft, cuddly, and so easy to make! The pattern is unbelievably simple; the entire blanket is crocheted in double crochet. The ruffle is added at the end, in front loops between two rows of different colors. The tutorial is written in standard US crochet terms, but if you’re from the UK, you can easily follow the tutorial, just make treble crochet instead of double crochet (standing tr crochet instead of standing dc), and that’s it! The other 2 stitches are the same (chain stitch and slip stitch). Yes, it’s that simple!

Soft And Sweet Textured Velvet Crochet Blanket

"This soft and sweet textured velvet crochet blanket feels like it should be used in an expensive hotel SPA. Use modern crochet stitches paired with Bernat Baby Velvet yarn to crochet this luxurious throw. Soft and Squishy Afghan The combination of front post double crochet and back post double crochet paired with this silky yarn create a soft and squishy Afghan. When my daughter ran her hands across this blanket, she snuggled her face against the yarn. She said the fluffy and soft blanket was the plushest feeling one yet. We think it is because of the added texture created by the crochet stitches and the fluffy yarn. Pair this bulky yarn with the right stitch and you have a winner. The pattern is a two-row repeat consisting of a row of single crochet, which ads a bit of stability to the entire project. The next row uses a special stitch pattern alternating the front post double crochet and back post double crochet stitches."Soft And Sweet Textured Velvet Crochet Blanket
