Disha Shawl

I love working with fingering weight yarn and the Scheepjes Whirl series has such a great selection of colors to choose from! For this pattern, I picked the Passion Fruit Melt Whirl and combined it with the Rose Whirlette. The colorwork in this pattern is achieved by switching yarn after every few rows.

I have always admired projects made with the Moss Stitch and I wanted to use it to design a shawl pattern. This shawl is entirely made up of the Moss Stitch - so, all you need to know is how to make chains and single crochet stitches!

This was my happy, mindless project that I could make without paying much attention to it. Once you figure out the pattern repeats, it is very easy to make!

Disha means ‘direction’ in Hindi.

There is a small bonus in this pattern too! :)

This pattern contains:

Complete list of materials
Written Instructions
Charts to make the entire shawl
Video tutorials for all stitches and techniques used in this pattern.
A support video that shows you how to make the shawl with all the tricky bits explained.

Crochet Moss Stitch Scarf

Make this crochet moss stitch scarf using this step by step tutorial and Red Heart roll with it variegated TWEED yarn. The scarf works up quickly, and the moss stitch leaves the ends perfectly straight without blocking. This pattern is for a child's scarf (1 skein), but it can easily be adapted for an adult by increasing the width of the scarf in increments of two stitches, then increasing the length as desired (2 skeins)."Crochet Moss Stitch Scarf
