Who doesn't love sitting under a cozy blanket, cuddled up with your favorite pet or spouse, with a book or a project on their lap, while sipping on something delicious and toasty in their cup? That's my favorite late Fall/ early Winter activity, especially when the weather outside is turning decidedly frightful. Let it snow, rain, or be windy, I'll be inside with my cup of cocoa and a good book.

This month's square is more complicated than the last but in the end you have a fun rain cloud square you can make a few of and make a pillow cover, a bag, a table runner... whatever you can think of to turn this into if you don't want to make an afghan.

People focus a lot on gifting in December but you can make this square in so many colors and have it fit with any season and reason.

It's the third square already, where does the time go! Like the first two squares this one is tied to the month - March’s big holiday is St. Patrick’s Day here in the US and so I thought, how cute would a shamrock be? A simple shamrock that you can use to make a large blanket, a purse, a wall hanging… it's up to you!
