Striped Duffle Bag

This easy striped crochet duffle bag is created entirely with basic crochet stitches. It uses mostly half double crochet stitches. The finished size is approximately 17” wide x 9” tall x 9” deep and is rated as an easy level crochet pattern. This project will need some finishing skills to sew the side panels onto the main body of the bag, as well as to sew the straps in place. Optionally you can also use a fabric lining.Striped Duffle Bag

La Via Bag

If you liked the June Market Tote then you’re sure to love La Via Bag! This tote uses the same gorgeous stitch, but includes a solid bottom, taller mesh bag and single wide strap. Be ready for a day at the market, the park or the beach. La Via Bag is the June Market Tote’s big sister! I was able to fill this bag with 2 towels, a bathing suit and all the sunscreen goodies we would need, and it will still stretch to accommodate more. A versatile reusable bag that will be your go to this summer.La Via Bag

Movie Night Crochet Popcorn Bag

Movie night at our house means popcorn! My 3-year-old son loves popcorn but when I give him a bowl most of it usually ends up on the floor. He likes to play/watch a movie so he is moving around a lot and trying to bring his popcorn along with him…so cute but messy! I thought he would like his own popcorn bag so with my yarn in one hand and my hook in the other I went to work! He was very excited when I gave it to him and immediately wanted to make some popcorn. I filled up his bag and he loved wearing it around/eating it out of it and what’s better it stayed in the bag! I added a drawstring at the top so the popcorn wouldn’t fall out as easily. He really enjoyed his own special popcorn bag! The bag measures 8″ tall, 4″ wide with a 4″ depth and 14″ for the strap drop. This pattern uses 100% cotton yarn and size G crochet hook.

Simple Striped Tote Bag

It’s that time of year again when I’m ready to break out the cotton yarn and make myself a dozen different crochet bags. After all, one can never have too many bags, especially tote bags! I consider tote bags to be a summer essential… who am I kidding? I use my crochet tote bags all year round. Why do I historically design new tote bags this time of year? I think it’s because I’m being optimistic that, eventually, spring and summer will arrive here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Maybe it’s my way of willing the warmer weather to come, or maybe I just love my growing collection of bags.
