Sand Dollar Coasters

The Sand Dollar Coasters were first published in Happily Hooked Magazine in 2018. It took a lot of trial and error and many ugly sand dollars to finally arrive at these. The sand dollars on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico were so awesome and inspiring, I knew I had to make one. And not just one, enough of them to decorate my patio table in the summer months. These coasters use fpdc, dc, tr, and crab stitch to make a texture-rich, whimsical pattern for Summer decorating.

Chalkboard Can Cooler

The Chalkboard Crochet Can Cooler is a fast project that combines crochet and chalkboard iron-on for the perfect accessory for summer fun! Claim your beverage or keep score on your game with this free and quick Cricut craft and crochet pattern! The Chalkboard Crochet Can Cooler (aka Coozie or Coolie) is a simple pattern that's perfect for using up leftover bits of 100% cotton yarn - like from the Beer Growler Cozy, made with Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie! Then, Chalkboard Vinyl from Siser can be cut with a Cricut Maker (or just household scissors!) and ironed right onto the cooler. You can use this to write your name to prevent mixups, or keep track of the game you're playing… or how many drinks you've had! Of course, the chalkboard iron on is optional - but it's a lot of fun! Linked stitches in the Color B section provide a firmer background for the iron-on, but if you are skipping that portion, regular dc stitches work just fine too!

It uses less than half a skein of yarn of each color. I hope you will enjoy this pattern as much as I did in designing it.

Star Dishcloth

The star dish cloth is a free pattern that includes a written pattern, chart, and video tutorial. I used WeCrochet's Dishie Worsted cotton yarn in Ash, Pomegranate, and Silver, but any similar worsted cotton yarn will work just fine. The wash cloth/ dish cloth uses intarsia colorwork, though you will have to work over your yarn tails in a few places where the color changes are more than 1 stitch away from the previous color change (which is clearly shown in the video)
