I also prefer to work from corner to corner, it gives me a lot more flexibility in my work, you can decide the dimension of your piece as you go. For this pattern, use 100% worsted cotton yarn. Multi-color yarn will create a beautiful effect, but it will also be beautiful with a solid color!
