Any Holiday Textured Dishcloth

The Any Holiday Textured dishcloth is an easy and fast project featuring a unique looking stitch - the modified dropped double crochet. This stitch creates such a wonderful texture and unique look - on both sides of the dishcloth! You can use any color combo to create a look specific to the Holiday or season desired! So many different options! I used small amounts of Lily Sugar n Cream cotton yarn but if you have another 100% cotton yarn available then use that instead. A great project to use up your scraps.

Chevron Crochet Kitchen Towel

For those of you who want to continue crocheting in the warmer months, here is a lovely free pattern for your home, kitchen towels. Make them in 100% cotton for good absorbency and durability. I had made them for a friend a couple of months ago and found the time to write down the pattern only recently. The chevron used a combination of alternate double crochet and single crochet rows. This makes it a quicker version of the chevron stitch when compared to the tedious single crochet chevron.

Buttoned Cup Cozy

Need a quick and easy project? Maybe a last minute gift for a coffee fanatic? This buttoned crochet cup cozy is a perfect last minute gift, stocking stuffer or just nice to have around the house. Plus it is a great way to use up leftover yarn. Lately I have been looking for ways to use up my yarn stash. Small projects keep my hands busy and make wonderful “just because” gifts. I just love this design because it works for any type of cup. Just slip the button loop through the handle of you mug and wrap the cozy around the cup, button it up and you are good to go. For a travel cup, button your cozy and slip it on the cup like a sleeve. It is just that easy.

Cell Phone Time Out Hand Towel

I love items that have double functions and add a touch of decor. When it's time to sit at the dinner table I simply drop my cell phone into the hand towel pockets and let it go. I know where it's at and I can hear it if I get a phone call, but the temptation to check social media is set aside. It also sets a good example for my little ones because when they are older I will be asking them to drop their cell phones into the hand towel as well.

Kitchen Stool Cover

Created to cover stools 13” in diameter and 1” thick. There is no gauge with this pattern because the size of your stool is subjective. As is the nature of crochet, the covers are very prone to stretching. The cover will look too small at first but with some muscle will stretch to fit tightly. Make one cover for however many stools you have. One skein I Love This Cotton should make two covers with some leftover.
