Up North Crochet Fingerless Mittens

The Up North Fingerless mittens are a nice cozy mitten to wear year round (nice on those chilly Summer nights in Northern Michigan). These fingerless mittens feature the front post double crochet stitch that gives it a great texture and makes them look thick and cozy. They are fun, quick and easy to make as there is not much stitch counting involved. This simple design will leave you wanting to make them in every color! This project uses medium worsted weight yarn and size I hook.

La Chocolatière Mitts

These mitts have an interesting wavy pattern in two colors. They are crocheted flat and each in one piece. They are started at the thumb, which is worked flat and joined into a tube. Afterwards, the main part starts with an additional chain, and then is worked back and forth around the thumb. Working through the back loop only gives them an interesting texture. There are different instructions for the left-hand and right-hand mitt because second mitt mirrors the first one.

Moss Stitch Mittens Crochet Pattern

If you're looking for something cozy and have ever wanted to try the moss stitch in crochet, make a pair of these mitt gloves. These moss stitch crochet mittens are so easy to put together. The pattern is really easy to follow and you'll end up with a snuggly pair of gloves. Each glove has decorative ribbed cuffs on the bottom of the moss stitch sections. The yarn makes it even easier to fashion gloves for the winter. They're made out of Ella Rae Cozy Alpaca yarn. It's an acrylic/ alpaca blend and a worsted weight.
