Crochet Isle Fair Beanie

The Crochet Fair Isle Beanie is a tapestry crochet project that uses half double crochet for the ribbed brim and single crochet in the back loop only for the body of the hat. The color work is created by following a chart and the top decreases are both charted and written. This project uses four colors of worsted weight yarn and gauge is very important for this project. This project can also be worked as a stranded colorwork pattern.

Velvet Fur Hood

"The Velvet Fur Hood is the easiest, one-piece no-sew bonnet that you'll have the pleasure of making! The body of the hat is made completely in one stitch - the half double crochet. If desired, you can add a fluffy, faux fur trim to the edge of the hat to make it extra lush! It's a sweet, classic bonnet that will make the wearer look absolutely precious. It's unisex, simple, minimalistic, vintage, and perfect both boys and girls! It is the perfect accessory to keep heads warm and is available in newborn, baby, toddler, child, and adult sizes. A hat sizing reference chart is also included in the pattern. Easy to put on and wear, this beanie is practical, comfortable, and very soft if using velvet yarn. The traditional look of this hood doesn't go out of fashion and will always trend with the more modern and contemporary pieces. It makes the perfect gift for baby showers, birthdays, holidays, and craft fairs! "

This yarn may be substituted for any that is super bulky weight. You will need approximately 75 yards for this project. The hat is constructed from the bottom up. The ribbing of the hat is worked in rows, while the hat body is worked in rounds."

Sweet Serenity Hat crochet

"This month for our October CAL, I have designed a softly bobbled hat pattern for you to make. This crochet hat is easy to crochet and the fabric is made up of primarily double crochet stitches and bobbles. We crochet this project as a rectangle before seaming it into its final shape. This project is suitable for advanced (or determined) beginners. The 2021 Sweet Serenity Hat is crocheted with Drifter Aran yarn sent to me by King Cole. Last week’s matching triangle scarf pattern also uses this yarn, along with a 5.5 mm (I) hook. I chose to use Alps (Shade 4180) and the colors of pink, blue and white are muted and calm. Sizes: Small Child, Child, Teen and Adult (Medium and Large)"

Totally Tweed Toque pattern

"This pattern is written for a child-sized hat. However, it can easily be re-sized (yes, even beginners can do it) to fit anyone by adding or removing chains and/or rows. Instructions for re-sizing are included as well. While this is an easy, beginner-friendly pattern, an experienced crocheter could complete this entire hat in an afternoon. The toque is made flat using the half-double crochet in the back loop only and some slip stitches for the seam."
