English Garden Afghan Square

The English Garden Afghan Square is a crochet granny square that features rows of unique stitches and bright, vivid colors. This crochet square would make a perfect accent square in a crochet granny square afghan, and would look great in any color.

From the Designer: "This square is gorgeous! It has a decidedly geometrically organized look, like a formal english garden and the color combinations just speak of the blooms in a garden. Of course you can make it in as many or few colors as you like since the square also has nice texture. Pair it with simple solid squares for a truly elegant throw.

This is a fun square. It features overlay crochet to create the 3D effect, but don't worry, I have lots of photos to help you through it. Make this square in several color combinations and join them together for a fun afghan, or choose one color for a classic look. It would even make a beautiful afghan and of course, you could try it in different yarn weights or even crochet thread!
