Poppy Hair Tie Free Crochet Pattern

"I have been making lots of poppy flowers in different versions lately, from poppy brooches and poppy pins, to appliques and baby blankets, but I realized I haven't made a poppy flower design for kids that they can wear as hair accessories. So here it is, the Poppy Hair Tie! Your little one can wear these cute flowers for Remembrance day and of course, you can use them as appliques for hats, hair bands and hair clips, the possibilities are endless. I have used DK yarn and a 3mm crochet hook for these poppies and they measure about 9cm in diameter. If you change the hook size and yarn weight, you can modify the size to fit your project."

Slouchy Lace Hipster Hat Free Crochet Pattern

"This quick and easy slouchy crochet zig zag beanie may look complicated but it's actually very simple once you have mastered how to complete the V Stitch. (Don't be scared if you're a beginner, it's only a clever combination of double crochet stitches). I designed it to work with both chunky and bulky yarns as they give such a lovely texture to the stitches. I made mine in cotton which means it's popular for summer too (it never gets too warm in North West England!) Crocheted in the round from a magic circle it is worked top down so it can be adapted to any size from a cosy beanie or add more rows to create a more slouchy hipster look."

Diamonds Messy Bun Hat Free Crochet Pattern

"I've had so many crocheters reach out to tell me that they LOVED my Chevron Peaks Slouch. I was pleasantly shocked because it was one of those designs that I really didn't think would garner much attention. All of the positive messages I received were the reason I used the same technique for the argyle stocking and argyle beanie, slouch and messy bun. After making the argyle beanie, slouch and messy bun I realized that by removing a couple of stitches, it created a nice, even diamond design. So that's where inspiration for this one came from. I've got a couple more fun designs coming your way with this technique too! "

Accidental Slouch Hat

"All you need to make this hat is a single crochet and one skein of chunky yarn! Just a teensy bit of texture and slouch makes a big impact. This will be a favorite hat for both guys and gals! This hat is worked from the bottom up in single crochet. Working in the back loops only creates a wonderful texture. The most difficult part of the hat is the decrease stitch, but a confident beginner can master it in no time."
