Crisscross Crochet Sweater Free Crochet Pattern

"This crisscross crochet stitch sweater design was inspired by my lacy knitted sweater design. So many crochet people loved that knitted sweater that they convinced me to try to make a crochet version, so here it is! This pattern is made in four separate panels and sewn together. It's simple and beginner friendly. Includes US women's sizes XS-XXL and a follow along video tutorial. I used a #4 weight yarn (Berroco remix) and a 6mm hook."

The Genesis Cardigan Free Crochet Pattern

The genesis summer kimono cardigan has a richly varied structure. Also, its beautiful color bands highlight the alternating voids and denser stitches. Overall, it's a beautiful, casual and playful cardi for everyday.

The Genesis Cardigan Free Crochet Pattern

I wanted something colorful and summery, which can be hard to find when crocheting/knitting. This pattern came to be when I was reading the story of Joseph and The Coat of Many Colors. Now, I'm not going to go into the whole story of Jacob gifting the coat to Joseph, But this particular coat meant a lot to the people of this time. A piece of clothing with different colors represented worth and leadership.

Remix Cardigan

Next, the remix asymmetric front cardigan is a fun and playful cardi, that's a bit warmer as well. Therefore, it'll be perfect for the fall.

As most of you know I LOVE making, wearing, designing, admiring, any oversized sweater. The Kelby sweater is JUST THAT. I wanted to make an off the shoulder, slouchy sweater that works for all seasons, using a large crochet hook and velvety soft (literally!) this sweater has a beautiful open stitch drape. To say I'm obsessed would be an understatement.

Long Crochet Cardigan

This long luxurious looking cardigan is surprisingly beginner friendly and easy to make. You can do it! Available in sizes XS-XXL, the easy to follow free pattern includes step by step photos and instructions as well as a follow along video tutorial. I used a 10mm hook and #6 super bulky yarn for this sweater. The cardigan is made in 5 separate pieces and then sewn together. The collar is added after. The chains when you start will be the length of the cardigan, if you want shorter or longer just make less or more chains at the beginning, but the back panel and the front panel have to have the same amount of chains.
