Christmas Tree Snowflake Ornament

Christmas is just around the corner and crocheting your own Christmas ornaments and decorations, for yourself or for gifts, is a lovely way to get into the festive spirit. The size of the motif depends on the thread or yarn and the hook you are going to use. The finished size of the snowflake in the photo is 11 cm (about 4,3 inches) in diameter. I crocheted it with cotton thread size 10 and a 2 mm crochet hook. Besides the pattern, you can find here a very helpful free blocking template!

Pineapple of My Eye Baby Blanket

This baby blanket is so fun and easy featuring Lion Brand Mandala Baby yarn, the pineapple cluster stitch and an easy one-row repeat! Perfect match with the Lion Brand Mandala yarn but could certainly be made with any size weight yarn as gauge is not important with this project. The edging is a frilly double edged arch which is the perfect match with this blanket. Easy and fun this blanket would be lovely as a baby gift.

Pot Scrubby Crochet Pattern

Washing dishes will be a delight with this crochet scrubby by your side! This intermediate crochet pattern uses nylon netting to scrub away at pots and pans.

From the blogger: It's time to think about unique gift ideas, and homemade gifts are the best! These are my version of crocheted pot scrubbies made from nylon netting. They make fabulous handmade gifts! I plan on adding them to gift bags along with measuring spoons, cooking utensils, pot holders, and a recipe book. The nylon netting can be found at your local fabric store. One half yard of netting per scrubby is more than sufficient. Make something unique!

Neapolitan Scratch N Sniff

The Neapolitan Scratch N Sniff poncho is a lovely, comfy crochet poncho that will make you feel beautiful and cozy. I made this poncho at my local knit and crochet group, and several of the wonderful ladies there modeled the finished poncho for me. Every one of them commented on how soft it was, the Red Heart Hygge yarn is just wonderful. My friend Rachel (one of my stunning models) named this poncho because it looks like a scratch n sniff sticker for Neapolitan ice cream. I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as my friends and I do!
