Brianna Sideways Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

"The Brianna Sideways Shawl is a bit different than other shawls i have done as i normally design them lacy but this stitch really stood out to me and not everyone wants to have a shawl that has lots of lace so i combined moss stitch with puff stitches and then threw in some hdc stitches to give it a bit of a break from such confined stitches and i really think it works! Working moss stitch in to a piece gives it a textured look and this area actually worked up really quick even though it consists of chain and single crochet stitches. Because of the closed stitches i would recommend it being more of a autumn winter shawl but this would actually look great as a scarf also! Please note this is a beginner plus crochet pattern."

Lacy Shells Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

"This lacy shawl looks so classy and elegant and is surprisingly easy to crochet using mostly double crochet and chain stitches. Using a hook larger than the yarn calls for gives this project great drape and the optional faceted beads help the open spaces stand out. Shawl is crocheted with a cotton yarn and after Row 5 has just a 2-row repeat. You'll love how it looks paired with your favorite 'little black dress' or make it in all white for that special bride! Mesh Triangle Shawl

"This Crochet Mesh Triangle Shawl works up from top down with skipped stitches on either end to create the decreases. The sport weight cotton yarn leaves it soft, supple and gives it gorgeous drape. The coral color works so well for a bright summer shawl, or scarf. This pattern grows so quickly with just chains and double crochets. I worked up a photo tutorial {updated + new video tutorial!} to go with this one, so even if you're new to crochet you can totally make this one! I linked up my video tutorials for the two stitches I use in this pattern too, so you're all set-even if you're brand new to crocheting!"

Seeing Stripes Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

"This stylish triangular shawl uses a double-ended crochet hook and Tunisian Brioche for a beautifully textured and airy look. This shawl is crocheted using Brioche technique and requires the use of double-ended hook. Unlike most Tunisian crochet projects, this shawl is NOT worked with RS always facing, the work is turned after each FP, resulting in a reversible fabric. At the end of each FP, slide all lps to the other end of the hook, then change colour before working the RP. Starting with Row 2, you will decrease 1 st at the start of alternating RPs. Keep you tension even with special attention to first and last sts in each row as these have the tendency to become disproportionately enlarged. "

Isla Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

"Today's free crochet pattern is the Isla Shawl is a great easy shawl to get stuck into and very quick to work up! It is made up of dc stitches and ch3 loops and it creates this very simple but elegant shawl that is so light to wear. The design of it almost looks like peepholes which makes it really interesting but then with the double crochet rows in between it covers you up also. The Isla Shawl is one of those where you can easily pick up your hook, start crocheting and put it down if you need to without having to worry about if you may forget where you got to, i really like crochet patterns like that as it just fits in to your busy life but you can still enjoy the pattern at the same time."

Mannequin Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

"Mannequin Shawl is a large Tunisian crochet triangular shawl that is constructed from the tip to the widest section by increasing 1 stitch every row. It uses up to 400 g of fingering yarn weight, which enables the shawl to be a great layering option and provides warmth on cold spring and autumn mornings. The pattern uses basic Tunisian crochet stitches and simple yet very effective colourwork technique, which allows you to deal with loose floats on the back of your project without much fuss. The sample is made in beautiful colours transitioning from red all the way to purple and contrasting white colour, however this classic fabric pattern would look stunning in 2 neutral colours too. "

Cara Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

"The Cara Shawl was a pleasure to design and create, i really loved how this one turned out, so light and airy. I love designing any asymmetrical shawl filet crochet patterns as anything kind of goes and most of the time you can adjust the size of them so they can fit everyone or to how you want it. This crochet pattern is very simple to make and once you get going it's very easy to follow the repeats of the pattern which is what i like designing the most."
