The stitch pattern is easy to remember and you can make this while watching your favorite show on television :) Stitches used are single crochet and chains only. Vivi's Color Block Ripple Afghan is a fantastic baby blanket pattern that would be great for a baby boy or girl. The ripple pattern has great texture and the blanket has no holey parts. With box set sleeves, a beautifully textured stitch and cuff detail, you'll love wearing it as much as making it. New Beginnings Afghan Block | Secret Garden Add-on

"This beautiful 12" afghan block has a simple center edged with a flower petal design. Use it as a contrast square to tone down a highly textured blanket, or by itself to create an afghan that is beautiful and unique. You will need to know how to crochet post stitches, cross stitches, and shells. This block looks its best and most elegant in a solid color, but feel free to change it up and make it your own! "

Sugar Sand Afghan Block

"This easy crochet afghan block uses a simple crochet texture stitch to create the effect of little seashells nestled in the sugar sand of my favorite beach. Perfect for adding just a bit of texture to an afghan! You can use this block on its own, or combine it with other blocks for a fun quilted look. You'll need less than a skein of worsted weight yarn for this pattern. It creates a beautifully textured 12" crochet afghan block, perfect for making crocheted afghans of any size, and in any color."

Leaping Stripes And Blocks Squared

"The Leaping Stripes and Blocks Squared is my latest twist on this fun stitch pattern! Before, I shared how to make this stitch pattern in rows and in the round. Now, you can add granny or motif style to the list as well! Make a 12” square as shown here or go as big as you like with this free crochet pattern on Moogly! Getting to 12 inches was challenge enough, but I wanted to be sure to create a stitch pattern that could keep on growing to make a full-sized blanket! It took a lot of trial and error, but I did finally find a 4-row repeat that should let you make this blanket large as desired. As long as you end on the same row as I did, you can go right to the border provided. And then add a fancy edging if desired!"

Block Stitch Pet Bandana

"Apologies in advance... I couldn't decide which photo worked best so you're getting them all! Tyson was such a great model for me! Best part, he actually enjoyed wearing it! Try out this quick project to accessorize your little pupper! It worked up in about an hour for me (and I'm pretty sure I have the largest doggy everrrrrrr....) but should be much quicker depending on the size of your furry friend. Great for cats also! Try it out and let me know what you think."
