Simple Shell Mitts Free Crochet Pattern

"These sweet and simple fingerless gloves are the perfect quickie project to get you motivated to crochet again! Crocheting with Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn adds effortless interest and color, but they would look equally fantastic in another lighter worsted weight solid color- Caron Simply Soft is another personal fave! You'll love the texture of the simple shell stitches used in this hand warmer pattern, and the faux knit ribbing makes them cozy and warm, too!"

"The Mitis mittens crochet pattern are some really warm and lovely mittens that is just perfect for winter. It's originally designed with warm wool yarn. It stitches up quickly because the stitch pattern repeats. Choose your favorite color and you'll have a pair of mittens that fits your style. The crochet Mitis Mittens are definitely a great Chrismas gift idea for her. I especially think it's a great gift because of how delicate the stitches look. "

T-shirt Yarn Cowl Free Crochet Pattern

"Add some Pizzazz with this T-Shirt Yarn Cowl. Fun beginner crochet project. If you can make a chain stitch and single crochet, you can make this in an afternoon. This crochet cowl is worked flat and joined at the end. If you are a beginner, I think this is a great way to start making crochet scarves and cowls. I made this fun cowl in two colors. While you can purchase your t-shirt yarn, this can be made from old t-shirts too. While I have not tried this yet, I have seen a number of tutorials."

Rosary Hill Blanket Free Crochet Pattern

"This blanket is made of 3 different 12" afghan squares combined to make a background diagonal trellis effect with medallions of popcorn and puff stitches in radiating circles and cross like patterns. It is simply bordered to let the beauty of the squares shine through and looks great in multiple colors or solids. The pattern is designed in worsted weight yarn but would look very elegant in crochet thread as well."

Ruffle Baby Blanket Free Crochet Pattern

Today's free crochet pattern is this adorable ruffle baby blanket, oh my goodness this is the cutest thing ever and it is so easy to do! I have to be honest though those ruffles took a little longer than what i expected BUT it is still very quick to do.. I am clearly just impatient haha! The ruffle baby blanket is done by crocheting the base of the blanket which is just made up of double crochet stitches and then adding the ruffles which is super simple! All you need to know is how to work in the back loop of stitches on row 5 as when you do this you leave the front loop exposed and this is where you join your yarn to make the ruffle.
