Juliette Shawl

"Every year I walk in the St. Patrick’s Day parade with my Girl Scout troop. This year I decided I needed a shawl. The Juliette Shawl is perfect for the coming spring, as its open stitch pattern keeps it from being too warm. The circular design keeps it from falling off, so no worries of losing my shawl somewhere on the parade route! Juliette is named after Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Guides, which became the Girl Scouts. I used 1 scrumptious Frabjous Fibers Mad Hatter Mini Skein pack to create this vision in green. 4/23/20 I've updated this pattern to add stitch markers and just make it easier to follow. For the new sample I used Cascade Whirligig in Reds. This pattern was originally released on 3/12/15."

Adenia Shawl Wrap

"The Adenia wrap is a triangle shawl that features a nice textured stitch and eyelets, easy to make and designed to keep you warm during the Fall / Winter seasons and beginning of Spring. He is pleasant to wear as a shawl on the shoulders or as a scarf for a modern look. Crocheted from the top down and composed of six repeating rows on the main fabric and of a fancy eyelets edge, it offers a beautiful drape and a delicate and feminine boho style."

Amelia Shawl

"The Amelia shawl is a lovely lacy design with only a two row repeat which is quite easy to remember so you can easily put your programs on or listen to some music and crochet away without much thinking. I added a last row to this as i felt you couldn't really just end it on rows 3 or 4 and it have a finished look to it so i thought i might as well add an extra last row to give it a proper finished look which i think turned out great and it still flows with the pattern."

Jasmine Shawl

"The Jasmine Shawl is worked top down, you start with a long starting chain and then crochet in rows, i find even though it's a long starting chain the overall shawl pattern goes super quick and who doesn't want that! I made this shawl in three days but that was without blocking. Remember when you block your shawl to really stretch out the stitches, that's when the stitches really show at their best and even though this is made with aran yarn, once blocked it becomes super light and wearable, i also love you can wear shawls like scarves too and that truly makes it a versatile piece!"

Fall Triangle Shawl Pattern For Beginners

This Fall Triangle Shawl Pattern for Beginners was inspired by the beautiful fall sunsets with seasonal changing of leaves colors as the temperatures begin to drop in the evening. When the evenings get longer, and the days get shorter we will have a beautiful color palette to view outside. The beautiful shawl has a pattern repeat of two rows. Start at the bottom tip of the shawl and continue to grow the size of the shawl increasing stitches with each row and working up the lacy shawl. The triangle shape is achieved by increasing stitches in each row by 4 stitches.

Peri Pocket Shawl

The self-striping nature of the yarn showcases the modular construction of this mini motif shawl beautifully. The added pockets add a comforting and trendy detail. The pockets are crocheted separately, and then they are later sewn on for custom/fit placement. This mini-motif pattern can be easily modified to make a larger shawl, baby blanket, or afghan. This pattern features #4 worsted weight yarn, but can get interesting results with this stitch pattern. Be So Vivid can be found exclusively at Kristin Omdahl's website.
