For the last square, it had to be one of that works for December but also could be great all year-round - a present. People focus a lot on gifting in December but you can make this square in so many colors and have it fit with any season and reason.

Love making granny squares but don't know what to do with them? I've got a quick project to share that will have you turning your squares into a fun accessory - fingerless gloves! You can use the pattern given for your square, or any square of your choosing that measures 4″ (or very close to it). Gauge given is for a size small/medium using a G (4mm) hook. Use self striping yarn for a fun look without having to change colors. Change colors each round, or keep it all one color, it will still look fabulous.

The varying stitch heights create a fun color pattern, while the post stitches give the overall square some texture. Try playing with different colors or even making the whole thing in one color. Just have fun with it. Once you finish the stitches, cut the yarn and weave in all ends. The finished piece after blocking should measure to be a 12” square. Enjoy!
