C2c Enamored Heart Afghan Square

"This afghan square can be used for a variety of projects including throw pillows, blankets, shawls, wall hangings and so much more! I used 20 yards of Red Heart Super Saver in Buff (6 Yards) and Soft White (14 Yards) for mine because I love Super Saver for home products as it's durable and washes well. I had mine done in about an hour and half, but it really flew by. While the overall gauge isn't important, it is important that the gauge for both yarns that you use are the same. I had to use an H8/5mm for my Soft White, and I9/5.5mm for my Buff."

How To Crochet A Granny Square

The granny square is the easiest crochet square out there and should be one of the first things a beginner should learn. It sets the start for more intricate patterns and designs. You can crochet a few rows and stop to form classic granny squares which are joined together, or you can continue with the rounds of clusters to make your granny square as big as you like (and even turn it into a one-piece blanket). How do you crochet a granny square? A granny square is crocheted in the round and it's constructed with clusters of 3 double crochet stitches evenly spaced out to form a square shape. This granny square tutorial was designed for absolute beginners with step by step instructions and a video tutorial for those who learn better from watching how it's done.

Crochet Snowman Granny Squares Blanket

A couple of years ago I made the Snowman Granny Square. And updated the pattern this year (2016) with my newest blanket pattern I made using these squares together. These smiling snowy faces can stay looking at each other in this Christmas all the time! Attaching these Snowman Granny Squares together, you can make any size blanket or afghan. It means this is a free size pattern. And also Snowman Granny Square Blanket can be worked with your favorite yarn weight. I used sport weight and made 20 squares. These all squares I joined with Join As You Go (JAYGo) method.

Pretty Posies Square

"The Pretty Posies Afghan Square was designed to work well with my Sweet and Simple Afghan Square Pattern. Both patterns are crocheted with Scheepjes Stone Washed Yarn from the mini skein Colour Pack. When you make these with the Sport Weight Yarn 2 and a 4 mm (G) hook they measure approximately 4 inches square. When you use Medium Weight Yarn and the hook indicated on the yarn label, you can expect a square approximately 6 inches X 6 inches in size. This design begins with the leaves and the flower portion of the project. You can stop after the flower section and you will have a pretty flower embellishment you can use on other projects. I have included step-by-step photo tutorials for all parts of this square. They are available in my blog post with the free copy of the pattern."
