Basic Keyhole Hand Towel
Ever since designing the Gingerbread Man Kitchen Towel, I've had many ask if I could design towels that hang in a similar way for year-round use. The Floral Blooms Hand Towel was the first in a fun, new series of crochet towels followed by the Farmhouse Striped Keyhole Hand Towel. Because crocheters loved the Farmhouse Striped Keyhole Hand Towel, I decided to come up with an even more basic crochet towel design that is suitable for beginner crocheters. This beginner friendly crochet pattern uses basic crochet stitches and techniques.
Buffalo Plaid Moose Kitchen Towel
Ever since designing my first character towel, I've received requests for all sorts of characters for the different holidays. The Buffalo Plaid Moose Kitchen Towel is my latest design. First, you'll begin by crocheting a base for the flower. Next, you'll create the petals on the flower. Lastly, you'll crochet the body of the towel.
Stars and Stripes Hand Towel
Since designing the Gingerbread Man Kitchen Towel, I've had many ask me to design other crochet keyhole towels for all other holidays and for year-round use. Add a little Fourth of July, red, white and blue, crochet decor to your space with the Stars and Stripes Hand Towel, my latest crochet keyhole towel design. YARN Cotton is the go-to fiber for crochet dish cloths, dish towels, and hand towels as it's the most absorbent. There are several cotton yarns out there that would be perfect for this project, but I chose to use Lily Sugar n' Cream 100% worsted weight cotton yarn. Lily Sugar n' Cream is available in 39 colors so I was able to find the perfect colors I needed for this project within the same yarn line.

Approximate finished size: 8 from bottom edge x 4.5 wide (not including towel) The towel topper is crocheted in two pieces - the hanging tab is crocheted directly onto the plastic 3 ring and then a skirt is crocheted separately and sewn to the hanging tab. The hidden 3 ring allows the towel to become removable for easy washing. A quick and easy project perfect for gifts or craft fairs!
