Inspired by the Azure blue of the ocean waves and the salty teal of wave crests, this North Sea mandala pattern is for all ocean lovers. They are approximately 20 cm (8”) large, and any avid beginner should put this on their to-do list!
Teal Waves Crochet Blanket
Teal blanket yarn works perfectly with this wave crochet pattern to create a peaceful, ocean vibe for this Teal Waves Crochet Blanket. Wave stitches can be fun to crochet, you just have to develop a rhythm of sorts to keep track of which stitch you're using. The upside is if you use the wrong stitch, it will quickly become very obvious when your waves don't line up! This Teal Waves Crochet Blanket is definitely one of my favorite afghan projects to date!
Salty, The Seal Crochet Pattern
Salty, the Seal, is a cuddly and sweet seal with big beautiful eyes who is curious and enjoys going on adventures with her baby seals. Salty and her baby seals are both made with as little sewing as possible.
Their heads, bodies, and tails are all crocheted together, but the fins are made and sewn on separately.
Azure Skies Crochet Cowl Pattern
The Azure Skies Crochet Cowl Pattern is the second in the series I have designed for those in-between days when you don't want the bulk or weight of a longer cowl, but still need a layer of warmth around your neck, or to fold into a lightweight jacket or cardigan, with a pop of colour. Azure Skies has the same lovely broomstick lace crochet stitch as my Dolly Mixture Sweetie Crochet Cowl Pattern, adding to the texture, achieved by using a 15mm needle and a 5.5mm crochet hook. It was a bit of a happy accident that the colour changes lend themselves so well to the number of stitches used for each row.
Ocean Waves Chunky Crochet Blanket Pattern
Add some blue to your home with this dynamic Ocean Waves Chunky Crochet Blanket Pattern. The vibrant blue and white color scheme is reminiscent of watching ocean waves crash into the shore, and the chunky yarn texture will make the final project feel dense and cozy. Once completed, you can easily use this crochet throw to brighten up a bedroom or living room. If you know someone who loves the color blue, then you could also use this pattern to make them a gift they'll love. Either way, the wave-like ripples featured in this free pattern will remind everyone of a pleasant day at sea!
Wistful Wave Blanket
Soft waves. Toes sinking into sand. A big sigh of contentment. And this. This Wistful Wave Crochet Blanket. The perfect, soothing balm in a sea of crazy times. What this year needs is the kind of crochet project where you kick up your feet, snuggle under your work and mindlessly crochet away all the disturbing things in life you'd just as soon forget. And be present in the good of the moment. The Wistful Wave Crochet Blanket is all that. Let's ride that wave!
