C2C Moss Stitch Tutorial

Did you know that you can crochet other stitches, such as the moss stitch, in a corner-to-corner (C2C) style? This technique allows you to easily adjust the size of your project as needed. For a unique touch, try using variegated yarn, which can also help hide any signs of wear and tear over time.

Corner To Corner Moss Stitch Dishcloth

I really love the moss stitch, it is one of my favorite stitches. I like to make blankets and dishcloths with this stitch, it has a very nice texture, it's easy and still got this very elegant look. I also prefer to work from corner to corner, it gives me a lot more flexibility in my work, you can decide the dimension of your piece as you go. For this pattern, use 100% worsted cotton yarn. Multi-color yarn will create a beautiful effect, but it will also be beautiful with a solid color!

Corner To Corner Crochet Wattle Stitch

I've been playing with the Wattle stitch lately. The stitch is very easy and repetitive, but still has a unique and elegant look, to me, it looks like little flowers. I like taking interesting stitches and turn them into a corner to corner version. The C2C method is one of my favorite methods to work when I'm making blankets or dishcloths, it's very flexible, it allows you to decide the finished size of your work as you go. For this tutorial, I made a washcloth pattern, but you can make whatever you want with this technique (like blankets for ex.)!
