First, this winter slouch hat is easy with just two stitches needed, and should take between 1.5 - 2.5 hours to complete depending on your skill level. Also, it's a thoroughly modern pattern with a 1920's flair to it, tres chic!

The Hadley Slouch
The Hadley slouch is a little more hippy or Boheme. It's chainlink-like stitching is greatly complemented by alternating the bands of color. This has the further advantage of letting you use up shorter lengths of yarn. Maria Bittner did an amazing job with this pattern, don't you think?
