However, an October beanie can be a little more “designerish”. Thus, this easy pattern is made with selected colors but worked in simple double crochet.

Striped Dylan Claire Beanie
"This is an easy crochet pattern worked in simple double crochet stitches, and includes 7 sizes from Newborn through Adult Large. You'll need a lightweight worsted weight yarn. I used WeCrochet Swish for mine, but Lion Brand Wool Ease and Berroco Vintage are great alternatives. If you need wool-free, try Red Heart Soft or Lion Brand Heartland. I worked up the adult small size for myself, and it took just under two and a half hours."

Lavender Kisses Beanie
Undoubtedly an October beanie is best accompanied by a matching accessory. Therefore, the Lavender Kisses Beanie is best accompanied by the Lavender Kisses Cowl. Moreover, the size is adjustable for anyone in their teens or older.

Football Season Beanie
Originally, I made this beanie so I could wear it to my niece's flag football games, but I only recently shared the pattern for it as part of a Christmas crochet-a-long. My topic was "For Men". Instructions available from newborn through adult large. Times range from 45 minutes to two and a half hours, depending on the size. Abbreviations You'll Need to Know: SC - Single Crochet, HDC - Half Double Crochet, DC - Double Crochet.
Snowcapped Beanie
"This fun puff stitch, snow scene inspired beanie was made to match a cowl I made (the Snowcapped Cowl). It's made with Red Heart’s With Love, so it's soft and squishy, plus with one skein, you can make multiple hats. As far as snowy scenes go, I think this set would look great with aqua, blue or gray as the main color, or any color combo really! I was able to make the adult small size in about an hour and a half. You'll need to know how to double crochet (DC), front post double crochet (FPDC), and back post double crochet (BPDC). The Puff Stitch is explained."
