Pocket Full of Rainbows
I love tiny purses! They are so fun and show so much personality! And the creation of the Pocket Full of Sunshine bag sparked some ideas, so now we have the Pocket Full of Rainbows! These 'pouches' are perfect for carrying around the beach or even events where a big handbag is just not feasible. I will be at a concert next weekend and I am seriously considering taking the Pocket Full of Rainbows with me because it's the perfect size for my phone and keys.
Argyle Purse
The Argyle Purse takes tapestry crochet to a whole other level by starting with a faux leather base. There is a link that will take you to a full tutorial complete with pictures to simplify the base creating process. Basic Red Heart solids yarn was used with stunning results to create this purse. The instructions are a full written tutorial as opposed to a graph, so everything is broken down to a step by step process. The goal with this pattern was to take what looks to be a more challenging project, and create directions that simplify the process so that anyone can do it.
Stingray Purse or Pal
This cute crochet stingray is a perfect gift project to make for kids of any age!

Immediately I thought, 'That's a fun idea!' As soon as I finished the purse base, she wanted to have it. She didn't even want to wait for the handle to be added. After our photo shoot with the purse, she requested I remove the handle. This made me think 'This could easily be a cute stuffed animal too!'
Pocket Full of Sunshine
It's finally summer (well, almost). I dream of days crocheting on the beach while my kids play (and leave me to my crafty ventures!) I also look forward to walking the shores and exploring, and that's how the Pocket Full of Sunshine came to be! One thing I hate about the beach is carrying around the big ol' beach bag. Sure, it's fine when we're there to lounge and swim, but what about just walking along the sand? All I need is a small pouch for some important things like my phone and keys.
