The Cake Dots Scarf is a very pretty scarf that uses one Caron Cake to complete. The pattern includes instructions to make an infinity scarf, a regular scarf, and even an over-sized scarf. The regular scarf takes one 7 oz. skein of worsted weight yarn. The example in the pattern is made with Red Heart. The over-sized scarf takes 12 oz. of worsted weight yarn. The example in the pattern uses Caron One Pound. The pattern could also be worked with less repeats to make a cowl.

It was a bit of a happy accident that the colour changes lend themselves so well to the number of stitches used for each row.
