"My Tunisian crochet lace shawl is so soft, light, airy and… drape!!! It feel so lovely just like any other crochet shawl around your neck. It it so pliable and will not stick out like a sore thumb. It uses Tunisian Lacy Shell stitch that is so easy to create but makes a stunning lacy shawl! I have added a video tutorial for this lovely stitch so you can learn something new. The finished shawl is a lovely size to wear around your neck or over your shoulders. "

Sea Shells Shawl
The Sea Shells Shawl is made using four crochet stitches which creates this beautiful and intricate lacy shell design. The shawl is crocheted in one piece starting at one end and working in rows all way to the other end which makes it a rectangle shape. It's an absolute dream to work up and can be made quite quickly once you get used to the stitch layout. I would say this pattern is for the intermediate crocheter due to knowing where to put your stitches. I have explained it as well as possible in the free pattern below so if you are a advanced beginner crocheter you may want to try it out. This Sea Shells Shawl pattern is made in one size but in the paid pattern I have included the multiples so you can make it in any size that you would prefer and with your ideal yarn.
Simple Shells Light Wrap Crochet Pattern
So, if you haven’t guessed, I decided to use the Ava yarn from Classic Elite Yarns. It's a beautiful metallic silver yarn; a blend of viscose, wool and polyester. Right off the bat, I had a vision for this particular yarn. And that's how the Simple Shells Light Wrap came into being. This wrap is really delicate and simple to make. It uses the shell stitch which, paired with the subtle metallic yarn, adds a beautiful textural wave to the wrap. It's a lightweight wrap to take on vacations with you or for mild weather. It can also be worn in a variety of ways, so it would be a beautiful holiday gift.
Spring Shells
I have totally fallen in love with this new yarn from Red Heart: It's a Wrap Rainbow. The unique color changes are due to Red Heart using 4 strands of super thin yarn, changing colors one strand at a time. This new free crochet pattern uses a lacy pattern so the beauty of the yarn enhances my Spring Shells wrap. Size: 52″ x 23″ Yarn: Red Heart It's a Wrap Rainbow, 55% Acrylic/45% Cotton, 623 yds/570 m/150 g Whisper 9347 - 1 cake Hook: US-G/6, 4.0 mm

Lacy Shells Shawl Free Crochet Pattern
"This lacy shawl looks so classy and elegant and is surprisingly easy to crochet using mostly double crochet and chain stitches. Using a hook larger than the yarn calls for gives this project great drape and the optional faceted beads help the open spaces stand out. Shawl is crocheted with a cotton yarn and after Row 5 has just a 2-row repeat. You'll love how it looks paired with your favorite 'little black dress' or make it in all white for that special bride! "
