"Join in with the Animal-A-long. My first ever Crochetalong which ran in June 2019. Each square was released on a weekly basis. All animals, made in baby colours, perfect gift for a new baby. Corner to Corner crochet, to make a great Afghan/ blanket. Full instructions with colours and yarns listed on the blog, but also great for using up your stash. Links with how to C2C included, and a full alphabet for you to change the words at the top to make it more personal."

No-Brainer Granny Square Blanket
This is a great blanket/ afghan. Uses Stylecraft DK and 4 mm hook, but any yarn could be used as a great stash buster. You'll need 10 colours, 9 for the actual squares and 1 for joining them together - my personal rule was no white. Joined using the continuous join method. The order of the colours was released weekly on my blog - to have a blanket in 13 weeks - you could make more squares weekly to make the project quicker.
Alphabet Blanket
This Alphabet blanket would make an amazing baby shower gift or gift for a classroom teacher. You can make the blanket as pictured, with the entire alphabet. Or, you can make a blanket out of someone's initials or even spell a name or word. The possibilities are endless! These square graphs are also the perfect size for baby loveys, pillow covers, one square of a larger blanket, one side of a tote bag, or as wall art (just add a dowel rod and hang it up!).
Ocean Animals Blanket Free Crochet Pattern
"My latest corner to corner animal blanket is this Ocean Animals themed graphgan! I added a scallop trim border with the hopes that it would look like waves. Each of the 6 crochet animals is a c2c crochet blanket square. Pictured top to bottom and left to right, the animals are: Turtle, Jellyfish, Octopus, Whale, Seahorse and Fish. If you're not up to the task of crocheting six animal graphs, you could easily turn any of the c2c crochet blanket squares into a crochet pillow. Just follow the instructions from my Fox pattern. "
Jungle Animals Blanket

Pictured top to bottom and left to right, the animals are: Monkey, Tiger, Jaguar, Alligator, Frog and Panther. If you're not up to the task of crocheting six animal graphs, you could easily turn any of the c2c crochet blanket squares into a crochet pillow. "
