I love creating unique afghan squares! This gorgeous Shells Aflutter 12 inch afghan square is the perfect accent to any afghan. You can make it the center of an afghan and build around it or make a bunch to join together into a larger afghan. This square is made with Vanna's Choice yarn in four colors but can be easily substituted for any other category 4 yarn in as many colors as you choose. This square is block #11 of the 2017 Moogly CAL!

Heart Pixel Art Square
Though a little time consuming, pixel art projects are so fun! I think I like most that it kind of resembles a quilt, but also that it uses my favorite join-as-you method - the Pull Loop Through Method! Makes for an easy join, and no worrying about how to assemble later - can't say I enjoy sewing squares together. BUT! If you do, you could always make the squares separately, and then use the mattress stitch (or your preferred technique) to join them later. WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THIS SQUARE? It's the perfect size for a 16 throw pillow, use it as an afghan square, and build a blanket, add more squares all around to make a larger blanket, use it as a doily, attach it to a dowel rod, and hang it, use it as the star of the show for a sweater/top, even changing up the weight of yarn used will open doors!
Sand Dollar Afghan Block
"This simple afghan block uses just a few simple stitches and some back post only rows to create an embossed sand dollar in the center of the square. This gorgeous beachy themed block is perfect for making a blanket on its own, or gorgeous paired with other simpler textures. The afghan block pattern here is a traditional 12" square, so it's easy to pair it with other styles of crochet afghan blocks for the perfect beach themed blanket for your home."
Calla Lily Flower Afghan Block
Potholders and hot pads really come in handy for warm and delicious food. And there s no reason why they shouldn t liven up the table too. Colorful crochet potholder patterns are frequently overlooked, but they have a lot of potential for being not only functional but cute. This Calla Lily Flower Potholder Free Crochet Pattern is one of the most beautiful potholder patterns I have seen. It adds a lot fun and brightness to your kitchen supplies. The unique shape and pretty design of this give it unexpected appeal and elegance. It makes this an excellent last-minute gift idea for any housewarming party on your calendar. Happy crocheting.

New Beginnings Afghan Block | Secret Garden Add-on
"This beautiful 12" afghan block has a simple center edged with a flower petal design. Use it as a contrast square to tone down a highly textured blanket, or by itself to create an afghan that is beautiful and unique. You will need to know how to crochet post stitches, cross stitches, and shells. This block looks its best and most elegant in a solid color, but feel free to change it up and make it your own! "
Crochet Snowman Granny Squares Blanket
A couple of years ago I made the Snowman Granny Square. And updated the pattern this year (2016) with my newest blanket pattern I made using these squares together. These smiling snowy faces can stay looking at each other in this Christmas all the time! Attaching these Snowman Granny Squares together, you can make any size blanket or afghan. It means this is a free size pattern. And also Snowman Granny Square Blanket can be worked with your favorite yarn weight. I used sport weight and made 20 squares. These all squares I joined with Join As You Go (JAYGo) method.
