Who is ready for spring and the warmer weather that comes with it? I know I am! I thought it would be fun to design a spring themed baby blanket. This adorable Baby Bunny Blanket is worked corner to corner (c2c). You can follow the written instructions or the pixel graph. It's a pretty quick project. Diamond Quilt C2c Graphgan
The Diamond Quilt C2C Graphgan is a crochet pixel blanket pattern with a modern look that features (almost) all the colors of Caron Little Crafties! Or you can use all those special odds and ends of your favorite colors and remember your favorite past projects - like a real quilt! Of course, I also needed a background yarn - and Caron Simply Soft is the perfect yarn to combine with the Little Crafties! I chose white, but I think this blanket would be amazing with black or gray as the backdrop for the diamonds. Just switch out the black or gray diamonds with the white Little Crafties skein! Both written instructions and a graph are included. I tried to match the colors in the graph to the actual yarn colors and create a random-ish arrangement, but of course, you can rearrange these colors however you like!
C2c Elephant
If you're looking for corner to corner crochet animal patterns, look no further! This adorable corner to corner (C2C) Elephant is just one of six Safari animal patterns that I am designing for a corner to corner graphghan. If you're not up to the task of crocheting six animal graphs, you could easily turn this Elephant graph into wall art or a large pillow. Just follow the instructions from my Fox pattern if you choose to make a pillow. These fun and free corner to corner animal graphs are perfect for beginner crocheters.
Crab at Beach Graphghan
This free crochet pattern comes in graph form. There are no written instructions. The design features an adorable crab playing happily at the beach. If you're unfamiliar with crochet a graph you can find two articles within this blog post that go into more details about three different ways that a graph can be crocheted- HDC, Bobble, and c2c. If using the c2c method this graph will work up to a pretty good sized medium or throw sized blanket.
Shamrock Throw
"With St. Patrick's Day less than a month away, I thought a Rainbow Shamrock blanket pattern would be a fun and quick project to share with you all! Aside from white, you won't have more than one color in each row. This really cut down on the number of ends that I had to weave in. To be fair for you left handed crocheters, I flipped the graph so that you will also only have one rainbow color in each row. If you find that to be helpful and would like for me to provide a flipped graph for my other c2c patterns, please reach out on social media (Instagram or Facebook)."
