Frog Backpack - Toddler-Sized

How cute is this Frog Backpack? I made this Toddler-sized - 8 1/2” x 11” x 2”. Perfect size for toddlers/preschoolers. I used double-stranded #4 worsted weight yarn to make it sturdy. The 'belly' portion is a front pocket. With a zipper top, this makes a great bag for young kids to tote their stuff to preschool, to play, to grandma’s house, etc. Plus, this project was completed in one evening. Simple, cute, and efficient!Frog Backpack - Toddler-Sized

Paliki Pocket Tote

Paliki means “small” in Hungarian (or so I’m told). And this pocket tote is small, but sturdy - perfect for when you need a bag that won’t stretch out, keeping your farmer’s market purchases safe and protected! A great addition to your usual assortment of bags, the Paliki Pocket Tote is the one that’s “just right” for all those small special items! Wondering what a “pocket tote” is? It’s a tote that folds up into itself, perfect for stashing in your purse or car so you always have it when you need it. This one also features a pretty ribbon woven through the handle. That’s not just for looks - the ribbon keeps the handle from stretching out due to the weight of your goodies. And the double layer on the bottom adds even more stability to this handy crochet bag!

Crochet Zipper Pouch

"These little zip-up bags are pretty quick and fun to make! Plus they are super handy for holding a variety of things! They are made from the top down, starting with the zipper! The best part is that there is no sewing required! You start by crocheting right around the zipper and then continue down to crochet the rest of the bag. This free pattern includes a detailed photo tutorial on crocheting around a zipper, as well as instructions for making your own zipper pouches!"Crochet Zipper Pouch

"Trinity stitch zipper pouch Artemis has a very nice texture. It is great for keeping your cards or coins. The pattern includes a written pattern and detailed photo instructions showing how to make this zipper pouch. It also has a link to photo tutorial showing how to sew in a zipper and attach lining. Any thin yarn will work, but for me mercerized cotton works best. So, grab your hook and make this beautiful zipper pouch for yourself or your friend!"Trinity Stitch Zipper Pouch Artemis

Koala: Backpack & Bag

"Hello! I want to share with you this pattern to make a mini koala backpack which can also be turned into a little crossbody bag with the way we'll place the strap, it is a very very easy and quick project and the kids are gonna love it! We'll use yarn of any color you choose for your main color, I chose beige, black for the eyes and brown for the nose. We are also going to need a button, a little bit of white felt, tapestry needle, crochet hook 4 mm and 3 mm. You can change the yarn weight as you like and the hook accordingly keeping in mind it will change the final size of your backpack. Mine is about 19 cm / 7,5 inches just the koala portion, plus the straps that will be as long as you wish to make them."Koala: Backpack & Bag
