Dip-dyed Cosmetic Bag (or Crochet Hook Pouch)

Crochet Bags

"This is the fifth design in my Dip-Dyed series - a cosmetic bag, or crochet hook pouch! This bag features a fun ribbed pattern, two color blocks, and uses simple crochet stitches. I don't often carry around a purse, and am not really a make up person, but I do enjoy using my bag for crochet hooks, and other essentials - yes, I keep a nail file in my hook bag as an essential! I recommend cotton yarn because it's more durable, and this bag will most likely see a lot of use, and being pulled and pushed around in a larger bag/purse, and you'll need just over an hour to put it together."

Chasing Diamonds Bag

Crochet Bags

This bag is just so fun, retro and chic! Perfect hand bag with a cross body chevron strap. With just a small section of tapestry crochet worked in just 2 colors, this would make a great introduction to this fabulous color technique! Full color graph is provided for the tapestry crochet section of the bag as well. At approximately 8” tall (excluding strap) x 13” wide, this bag is the perfect everyday go-to size. Line and add a zipper, if desired. Optional d-rings are crocheted directly to the bag for ease of construction and then strap is sewn to d-rings at the end. Strap is a retro chevron design to mimic the diamond design element of the bag. As written, strap is approximately 37” long once sewn to bag allowing the bag to be worn cross-body. However, instructions are provided to resize the strap as well

Dip Dyed Sunglass Pouch

Crochet Bags

"This bag is worked using a simple single crochet stitch worked into the back loop to create this fun, ribbed pattern paired with a trendy color block pattern. It's finished with a snap button, but an alternative to this would be to leave off the flap, crochet a chain loop instead, and sewing on a respective sized button. You'll need about 50 yards of worsted weight yarn - I've used Lily Sugar n Cream for mine. I recommend cotton yarn because it's more durable, and this bag will most likely see a lot of use, and being pulled and pushed around in a larger bag/purse."
