Classic Crossbody Bag

Bags come in all various sizes and styles, but crossbody bags are our favorite. This Classic Crossbody Bag is easy to carry and big enough to fit your daily essentials, and then some. This style of bag eliminates possible shoulder pain that over-the-shoulder purses usually can cause. Use any color yarn you want to complete this free crochet pattern. Straps are attached from the inside of the bag. Once you've completed the pattern, you can add a variety of embellishments including a zipper, decorative button, fabric lining, or a snap closure.

Crochet Zipper Pouch

"These little zip-up bags are pretty quick and fun to make! Plus they are super handy for holding a variety of things! They are made from the top down, starting with the zipper! The best part is that there is no sewing required! You start by crocheting right around the zipper and then continue down to crochet the rest of the bag. This free pattern includes a detailed photo tutorial on crocheting around a zipper, as well as instructions for making your own zipper pouches!"

Trinity Stitch Zipper Pouch Artemis

"Trinity stitch zipper pouch Artemis has a very nice texture. It is great for keeping your cards or coins. The pattern includes a written pattern and detailed photo instructions showing how to make this zipper pouch. It also has a link to photo tutorial showing how to sew in a zipper and attach lining. Any thin yarn will work, but for me mercerized cotton works best. So, grab your hook and make this beautiful zipper pouch for yourself or your friend!"

Tunisian Smock Pouch

"The Tunisian Smock Pouch is a cute little pouch with a zipper and a lining. It uses the Tunisian Smock Stitch for wonderful texture and fantastic design. The lining will add a protective layer to keep you items from falling through and getting caught in the yarn. Add a zipper for closure and you'll have a pouch that you can use to keep your things in. For both, the Smock stitch as well as how to sew a zipper to a lining and to crochet, I have video tutorials provided."

Peace Sign Shoulder Bag

This crochet peace sign bag is made for fun! The peace sign shoulder bag is made with the single crochet stitch which eliminates the need for a bag lining. The bag can be made using any yarn ply and the recommended crochet hook size for that ply. The thicker the ply, the larger your bag squares will be. The bag consists of 2 peace sign squares and a shoulder strap that is sewn onto and around the squares. You will need to know how to carry the yarn that is not in use to perfect the peace sign.
