I might just have a love affair with the crochet wine cozy. But really. What’s NOT to love. Hold 2 strands of worsted weight yarn together. There’s something special about an August Summer Day. The leaves are lush and green. The sun warms the air and I feel just like soaking up all the last bit of summer goodness. And that’s kind of how I feel about this beautiful, yet simple sunflower wine cozy. Maybe you’d like to make this sunflower wine cozy for someone you love. They are just too much fun to make. They look good when they are done and they make for a nice gift! If you haven’t made a wine cozy yet, you should give it a try; you just might get hooked!
These little guys would be a great way to present a bottle of wine or Champagne for a party or as a gift – everyone is going to love them. This pattern works up absolutely so quickly – made from a small crochet triangle with the ends folded and crocheted together.
The nose is crocheted separately, sewn to the inside of the hat and then sew a small section of faux fur to the inside of the hat. Easy, peasy – you could make several of these in a night! Perfect for all of your yarn scraps, too!

The whispering pines dishcloth is a great crochet project to add to the home and they are also so useful to have as well! Instead of buying dishcloths you can just easily make your own with this free crochet pattern and you can make them in all the colors that you want too, how fun! I made the whispering pines dishcloth with a single strand of yarn but if you wanted them really thick (which i know some people like) you can easily hold two strands together and just follow the free pattern below. If you do go with the two strands held together just note they will end up larger than mine and you will need to adjust you hook accordingly and you will need more cotton yarn to do this!
