Not one, but two delicate designs to transform your dish towels! Either trim- picot or scallop- starts with a foundation blanket stitch and a row of single crochet chain. Finally, you finish the towels off with one more row for either pattern. Tie it all together with a touch of twine, and a sprig of something for a perfect way to say "thank you." Also, think about making a stack of them so you always have a gift on hand!

Stars and Stripes Hand Towel
Since designing the Gingerbread Man Kitchen Towel, I've had many ask me to design other crochet keyhole towels for all other holidays and for year-round use. Add a little Fourth of July, red, white and blue, crochet decor to your space with the Stars and Stripes Hand Towel, my latest crochet keyhole towel design. YARN Cotton is the go-to fiber for crochet dish cloths, dish towels, and hand towels as it's the most absorbent. There are several cotton yarns out there that would be perfect for this project, but I chose to use Lily Sugar n' Cream 100% worsted weight cotton yarn. Lily Sugar n' Cream is available in 39 colors so I was able to find the perfect colors I needed for this project within the same yarn line.
Basic Keyhole Hand Towel
Ever since designing the Gingerbread Man Kitchen Towel, I've had many ask if I could design towels that hang in a similar way for year-round use. The Floral Blooms Hand Towel was the first in a fun, new series of crochet towels followed by the Farmhouse Striped Keyhole Hand Towel. Because crocheters loved the Farmhouse Striped Keyhole Hand Towel, I decided to come up with an even more basic crochet towel design that is suitable for beginner crocheters. This beginner friendly crochet pattern uses basic crochet stitches and techniques.
Easter Bunny Towel and Washcloth Set
Ever since designing my very first character Christmas towel in 2019, (the Snowman Kitchen Towel), I've wanted to design other character towels to celebrate all of the holidays. The Easter Bunny Crochet Hand Towel and Washcloth Set was designed to add a little fun, crochet decor to your home for the Easter Season. YARN Cotton is the go-to fiber for crochet dish cloths, dish towels, and hand towels as it's the most absorbent. Floral Blooms Hand Towel
Ever since designing the Gingerbread Man Towel, I've had many ask if I could design towels that hang the same way for year-round use. The Floral Blooms Hand Towel is the first in a fun, new series of crochet towels. The Floral Blooms Hand Towel makes the perfect gift for Mother's Day and other gift giving holidays! First, you'll begin by crocheting a base for the flower. Next, you'll create the petals on the flower. Lastly, you'll crochet the body of the towel.
Buco Towel
The Buco Towel is a crochet kitchen towel pattern that you can hang on the oven handle. This textured kitchen towel features a simple design that can be threaded through itself to hang neatly (and never fall on the floor)! Our oven handle is very cylindrical and the kitchen towels always slip off. This crochet hand towel stays in place, right where we need it. And if you're looking for a simple crochet dishcloth pattern then this free pattern works too. You can easily crochet the dishcloth as a solid rectangle, if you prefer.
