Tulip Stitch Afghan Square

This lovely Tulip Stitch Afghan Square is available as a free crochet pattern in 5 different sizes. A photo tutorial is also available to show you how to crochet this stitch pattern. This version of the Tulip Stitch pattern is worked in double crochet stitches, rather than single crochet stitches. The pattern works up quickly and creates a pretty finished square. This will also work for blankets and other items. If you'd like to make a pretty and feminine hat with this stitch, I have also created a free pattern in 11 sizes using the Tulip Stitch. It is linked in the post and a video tutorial is also available. The hat is worked in rounds but the video will demonstrate how the Tulips are created using a popcorn stitch - if you prefer videos. I really love this pretty and feminine stitch pattern. I hope you find the pattern and tutorial easy to follow.

Summer Garden Flower Baby Blanket

"The Summer Garden Flower Blanket is not an easy pattern, but the result is spectacular. A field of flowers in 3 different shades of pink surrounded by a border of green leaves. The blanket is made out of simple flower hexagons sewed together with the invisible seam technique. The blanket edging is made with the leaf stitch border. To avoid having too many ends to weave in, crochet over the magic ring end tail. Sew the hexagons in strips then sew the strips to each other."Summer Garden Flower Baby Blanket
