Florentina Shawl

Florentina is a light and delicate Crochet Lace Triangle Shawl made in a beautiful gradient yarn. This pretty shawl works up quickly with an easy 2-row repeat pattern. Add a small fringe for a stylish touch! Blocking is recommended to open up the stitches in the lace pattern, creating a diaphanous airy shawl. The pattern looks so lovely in a gradient cake yarn but 2 skeins of any fingering weight yarn from your stash would also look beautiful – you can get creative with the way you use the colours! The pattern will work with any weight yarn and matching crochet hook. Once you have the pattern repeat established, you can stop when your shawl is big enough, or you run out of yarn.Florentina Shawl

Disha Shawl

I love working with fingering weight yarn and the Scheepjes Whirl series has such a great selection of colors to choose from! For this pattern, I picked the Passion Fruit Melt Whirl and combined it with the Rose Whirlette. The colorwork in this pattern is achieved by switching yarn after every few rows.

I have always admired projects made with the Moss Stitch and I wanted to use it to design a shawl pattern. This shawl is entirely made up of the Moss Stitch - so, all you need to know is how to make chains and single crochet stitches!

This was my happy, mindless project that I could make without paying much attention to it. Once you figure out the pattern repeats, it is very easy to make!

Disha means ‘direction’ in Hindi.

There is a small bonus in this pattern too! :)

This pattern contains:

Complete list of materials
Written Instructions
Charts to make the entire shawl
Video tutorials for all stitches and techniques used in this pattern.
A support video that shows you how to make the shawl with all the tricky bits explained.
