Cozy Winter Blanket

Finally, here is a less complicated monochromatic blanket that shows how shades of winter can be simple. However, even though it's simple, it's still beautiful and cozy. Better still, crocheting in the front loop and the back loop is all you need to know to make this wonderful piece.

Ruffle Baby Blanket Free Crochet Pattern

Today's free crochet pattern is this adorable ruffle baby blanket, oh my goodness this is the cutest thing ever and it is so easy to do! I have to be honest though those ruffles took a little longer than what i expected BUT it is still very quick to do.. I am clearly just impatient haha! The ruffle baby blanket is done by crocheting the base of the blanket which is just made up of double crochet stitches and then adding the ruffles which is super simple! All you need to know is how to work in the back loop of stitches on row 5 as when you do this you leave the front loop exposed and this is where you join your yarn to make the ruffle.

Crochet blankets are always a popular choice among crocheters , be a beginner or a experienced Crocheter. The crocheted blankets are so versatile. You can combine multiple crochet stitches and make a pretty textured crochet blanket. You can easily make them as small as you want, or as large as you want. Today am sharing the pattern for this Crochet Easy Shell Stitch Blanket. I just love the texture of this stitch. This pattern is very simple to work up. This stitch is made up of double crochets and single crochets worked up in a pattern. The Crochet shell stitch looks complicated, but its just a repeat of two rows and you end up with a beautiful crochet blanket. I have used variegated yarn for the blanket. I love how the color changes and you don't have to weave off the yarn ends in case of using different color yarn at end of every row. You can use this easy Crochet shell stitch pattern to also make a Placemat Tablemat or a full sized crochet afghan blanket or a crochet throw.
