Toasted Hazelnut Brimmed Beanie

The Toasted Hazelnut Brimmed Beanie is the first of four hats in my fall collection of crochet brimmed beanies. Cozy, soft and textured, each crochet brimmed beanie pattern has a little bit of a different style. This one incorporates the bean stitch to add some fun, bumpy texture. Pattern includes directions for completing the bean stitch.

Charlotte’s Universe CAL 2021

The Velvet Charleston Hat

This is a simple pattern designed to fit like the flop hats of the 1920s era. The techniques are fairly simple and the project works up quickly. You can easily finish one of these while watching your favorite movie. Hat can be left plain or embellished with cute feathers and flowers as you can see in the photos. Bernat Velvet and Baby Velvet can be used, as well as Yarn Bee Velvety Smooth Sparkle if you have some in your stash. It seemed to have been seasonal.

Granny Square Heart Pillow

This fun twist on a classic granny square is easy to work up! If you know how to crochet a granny square, you can make this pillow. It is just a few rows of some color changing to create the heart and the back is one solid color granny square. Worsted weight yarn and a 14" pillow form was used for this project. You can easily make it smaller or larger by omitting or adding rows to the square.
