The Venus Shell Crochet Triangle Shawl pattern uses an elongated shell stitch for an elegant lacy shawl that works up on autopilot. You'll love the graceful shells made with treble crochets, and they show off the gorgeous colors of hand dyed yarn very nicely. Even better? This shawl has just one row repeat to memorize! Perfect for crocheting on the go or while relaxing and watching your favorite movie or tv show. You'll need approximately two skeins of sport weight yarn to complete this shawl.
This is one of the prettiest wraps you will ever see. It's a more advanced crochet pattern that you'll enjoy making. Simply Soft Heather yarn is used.
The perfect shawl for spring summer or fall evenings, when just a touch of chill is in the air.
Easy and Quick - Free Crochet Pattern! The Mountain Sunset Shawl is made using a simple stitch pattern that works up beautifully with a self striping yarn. The beautiful yarn I used makes this a one skein project which is always a plus!! A fun edging makes this feminine and fashionable. I hope you love this project! I do!! This was inspired by the alpenglow of the beautiful mountain I live next too… Mt Shasta, California USA.
Capture the feeling of delicate, lacy strands of seaweed, white sand beaches littered with shells, and the sparkle of sunshine on the clear, blue ocean. Sargassum is the name of a seaweed that washes ashore on the gulf beaches of Florida, where I recently went for a vacation. The days were full of warm sunshine, but there was still enough of a chill in the early mornings and late evenings to make this shawl a welcome accessory. The striping pattern gently shifts from more green to more blue, without repeating, while optional beads add a nice weight, and occasional sparkle as they catch the sunlight.
Telegraph is a boomerang style shawl with a curved top edge and an asymmetrical point, as well as a sawtooth bottom/side edge. It's crocheted in two colors of fingering weight yarn - model used Haiku by Anzula, one skein each Freesia and Rosebud - and a 4.5mm hook. You could change up the colorwork to suit your tastes, or eliminate it altogether for a single colored shawl. Modify the size by adding or subtracting rows - once you get it set up it's a four row repeat!
The Sugar Plum Shawl is the perfect accessory for the winter months. It's both delicate and cozy to wear, and it's quick to work up. Use Lion Brand Amazing Yarn to complete this free crochet pattern. Instructions are included for both a regular sized shawl and a smaller "shawlette," so you can be sure it will fit you just right.
I originally designed this shawl for Simply Crochet magazine quite a number of years ago (way back for issue 8!) and am so pleased to share it with you now. It's effortlessly easy to wear and I love it so much I have a few in different colours! It consists of 5 lace panels in different sizes that are edged, then joined, followed by a delicate edging around the whole thing and then finally a big old fringe at each short end to finish. It sounds complicated but I promise it's much easier than it seems.
